| Barriers in the workplace weren’t an issue growing up on a dairy farm; everybody worked equally hard and was equally rewarded. Using the inspiration and work ethic instilled by her parents, Marianne never realized that barriers could exist in society and the workplace. The reality is that many barriers DO exist, and a good manager/leader knows how to avoid/dismantle these. Marianne can teach the people at the top how to avoid setting up barriers AND teach people on the way up how to work around the same. |
